A couple of days ago, we got a visit from our marketing department at Southeast Tech. The school has a couple of banners for drug awareness and help hotline numbers that need to be updated. I am glad that we get to design some things for our school, within the school’s brand guidelines. This resembles the stuff that us designers will have to work with in the real world. I think it is a good learning experience; to design within certain limits. They want us to update the phone numbers that are on the posters, as well as the graphics that are being used; we get to create our own graphics. This will be fun, as well as a good learning experience. I plan on using the school colors and fonts. So we are not creating something from scratch.
