I just realized that I have never really talked about myself on my own blog. Crazy, isn’t it?! Currently, I have 2 jobs: I am a bartender/ server, and I work as a Production Assistant at KELOLAND Media Group. I have had the same job since I was 15. My very first job was at the same restaurant that I am at right now, 8-9 years later. I have worked at KELOLAND (news station) for about a year now.
This is the picture that is on my badge. It was taken at the anchor desk in our studio. At Kelo, I edit videos that go on air, and on weekends, I sit in the producer’s booth and cue the anchors.
I am glad that I have gotten some experience working at a news station. I enjoy working with video a lot.
Outside of school and work, you can find me spending time with my friends and family, listening to music/ playing music. I have been playing the violin for about 14 years. Well, I kind of quit in the past couple of years, but I can still pick it up and play it (I do, every once in a while).
This is a picture of my two cats, Leo is the cat laying his head on Gus. They are from the same litter, and they’re about 5 years old now. I love them very much, even though they can be naughty at times, Gus has learned to open our cupboards and drawers, especially the one where we keep their treats, which I don’t know how because it’s a slide drawer, and it’s higher up. So they’re smart.
