And I’m nervous. The nerves are starting to kick in a lot, the show is only in a couple of days. Everything is done now, my website, personal campaign, and my coffee business. Those were the main things that I needed to finish. These next couple of days will be spent lasering and putting the final touches on my projects. I have already started lasering my stuff! Here are the coasters that I ordered from JDS a couple of weeks ago.
I finished my pens already…. now that was a process. I spent 2 hours redesigning my logo. The laser kept trying to wrap my logo around my pen, so I had to go into Illustrator and change the scale of my logo mark. I made it smaller like 3 times, then I got rid of my name, and just put my mark and website name. In the end, I think they turned out pretty good (after about 12 mess up pens, at least I ordered extra). Then about an hour was spent lasering all 50 pens.
So far, I have not had any issues with my coasters, I am only lasering 4 at a time, I haven’t had to change the scale of anything… yet. These will look pretty good at my table, I bought about 36 of them, so there is definitely plenty to go around.
I also got my business cards last week, I ordered them from VistaPrint, and they came earlier than expected. Those just had my logo on one side, then my contact information on the other.
