Everything is starting to come to a close. After the portfolio show, it is time to find a job. But right now, all of my projects are due, and there’s nothing else after this (school-wise). It’s sad, I mean, don’t get me wrong, I am ready for my journey into the real world to start, but I think I will miss school. I have made many good friends, met new people, and had many cool opportunities to explore the world of graphic design, and that I will miss. I am glad that I chose this line of work. I have finally found something that I truly enjoy, I find it fullfilling.
I am still planning on moving to Florida to seek out design there. I am ready for a change of scenery, change of pace. I enjoy the sun and beautiful weather. Yes, I know the summer gets hot, hot. I would rather have extreme heat than extreme cold, what we get here in South Dakota (plus, I can be in a pool almost year round). I will miss my friends and family here, but I know that they, and I will be able to visit. I will be back for sure. I grew up here, so it’s time to move on and explore something different.
